We are searching for a Sous Chef to join our Parkland in the Valley team based in Quispamsis, New Brunswick.

About the Opportunity

  • Planning and preparing meals according to established standards, procedures, recipes and menus;
  • Ordering, receiving, storing and rotating inventory of all required food and supplies;
  • Maintaining safety and sanitation in the kitchen to meet legislative and organizational standards;
  • Communicating regularly with clients to ensure satisfaction with foodservice;
  • Supervising and mentoring cooks to ensure performance meets standards;

About You

In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:

  • You have a Culinary Arts Diploma.
  • You have a Red Seal Certification (preferred).
  • You possess a valid Food Handler’s Certificate.
  • You have at least 2 years of both culinary and leadership experience.
  • You have experience in large quantity food preparation.
  • You can read & follow detailed recipes/instructions as required.
  • You can provide a clear criminal record check.
  • A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
