We are searching for a Temporary Full-Time Move In Coordinator to join our Parkland Ancaster team based in Ancaster, Ontario.

About the Opportunity

 

Works in partnership with all operational departments to ensure movement adheres to all organizational and regulatory standards
Works in close collaboration with Resident Experience Manager/Hospitality Manager to ensure room is ready, front office is informed and
Works in partnership with Sales Team to understand upcoming resident move in schedule and requirements
Works with residents to arrange details of move into Parkland including scheduling moving companies, arranging removal of furniture that is not needed, etc.
Works with residents to help design layout of suite furnishings
Communicates upcoming move in schedule with internal operating departments
Communicates with new residents to complete required paperwork
Works collaboratively with new residents and key contacts to organize individual move in process
Manages resident paperwork and files it accordingly
Communicates with new residents to gain understanding of personal preferences, and communicates them appropriately
Acts as resident experience liaison between the resident and operations  
Manages move in process on day of move
Manages orientation of new residents to Parkland
Works collaboratively with Property and Engineering team to ensure resident suites are ready for resident arrivals
Reviews available ancillary services with residents during the move in process
Completes required move in documentation with resident/Substitute Decision Maker

About You

In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:

Diploma in Business Administration or related discipline
2 Years experience working in a Senior Living Environment or
5 Years experience working in a hospitality-based industry (Hotel, Retirement Living)
Experience using YARDI ERP considered an asset
